First, that last post and storm of comments did leave me a bit weary, and I decided to leave off blogging for about a week.
Second, that most terrible event, indeed, the event all bloggers fear occurred. My computer crashed. I was then left without Internet access for a little over two weeks. Yes, my world was turned upside down; no, I'm not going to spend a whole post talking about how much we depend on computers and the Internet (though, really, I never would have imagined I ever would be this dependent).
Third, once I finally did get a new computer, I had a nice little backlog of work to catch up on, all of which required Internet time. I've been slogging through all that for a bit, and I'm just about to emerge. As a result, I'm glad to announce that I've been simmering on another post and will publish that soon. To continue the metaphor, it's simply had to sit on the backburner for a while.
So, please keep tuned in, and I will be posting again in the next day or so.
